گوگل محدودیت دسترسی به برخی از سرویسها و محصولاتش را برای ایرانی ها برداشته است. طی یك نوشته در وبلاگ گوگل اعلام شده است كه برای اولین بار دسترسی به سرویسهای پیكاسا، گوگل ارث و محصول گوگل كروم برای ایرانی ها نیز آزاد شده است.
در پاراگرافت اول این نوشته به جریانات پس از آخرین انتخابات و نقش بعضی از سرویسهای اینترنتی در آن نیز اشاره شده است. اما نكته ای كه به ذهن من خطور كرده این است كه گوگل به اهمیت دسترسی كاربران به رسانه ای همچون اینترنت پی برده است. كاربران اینترنت به راحتی و با رضایت كامل اطلاعات شخصی خود را بر روی اینترنت منتشر می كنند و هر سازمان و نهادی می تواند با بررسی و آنالیز آنها داده های بسیار جالبی را استخراج كند.(+)
در واقع نیاز گوگل به استفاده از خدماتش برای جمع آوری اطلاعات، او را به انجام کارهایی از این دست وا می دارد.
گوگل متوجه شده، رشد استفاده از فایرفاکس و اینترنت اکسپلور در ایران بسیار بیشتر از کروم است. این در حالی است که در کل دنیا کروم در حال رقابت با فایرفاکس است ولی در ایران خبر چندانی از کروم گوگل نیست. هر کس مرورگر کروم را بخواهد با صفحه "تحریم" مواجه می شد.
تناقض دیگر، آزاد شدن کروم، آزاد نشدن اپلیکشن های کروم است. هدف گوگل نه ارتقای جایگاه اینترنت و حرفه ای شدن کاربرها بلکه تنها افزایش کاربران فارسی زبان مرورگر کروم است.
نکته بعدی آزاد کردن دو سرویس دیگر است که ایرانی ها (به دلیل سرعت کم اینترنت) خیلی کم از آن استفاده میکنند. گوگل ارث و پیکاسا سرویس های فوق العاده ای برای کاربران ایرانی نیستند که از آزاد شدن آنها خوشحال باشیم.
گوگل اگر میخواهد کاری کند، سرویس های کارآمد و به درد بخور خود را برای مردم ایران آزاد کند تا باعث رشد و نمو اینترنت در ایران آزاد باشد.
